In this chapter you will find information about motor protection.
Motor protection includes
• Overload protection
• Unbalance protection
• Stalled rotor protection
• Thermistor protection.
Motor protection operates alongside motor control "at a higher level in the
background". All motor protection parameters are explained here. They can
be active or not, according to the control function selected.

• Configurators
• Commissioners.
Necessary knowledge
You will require the following knowledge:
• Good knowledge of SIMOCODE pro
• The principle of connecting plugs to sockets
