From the Trig menu, Select Serial Pattern Setup.

In the Format drop-down list, select the data format, Binary or Hex, depending on how you want to view the data.
Select the serial data source
From the Trig menu, select Serial Pattern Setup.

In the Data Src drop-down list, select the data source for the trigger.
Behavior. Depending on which clock source you use, the Clk Polarity and Clk Level controls appear. Use these controls to set
the clock polarity and clock level threshold.
Select the serial data standard
From the Trig menu, select Serial Pattern Setup.

In the Standard drop-down list, select the data standard for the trigger.
