Setting Paper Sizes and Types
When loading print media, set the paper size and type on the operator panel before printing.
This section describes how to set the paper size and type on the operator panel.

 Setting Paper Sizes
IMPORTANT:
• Paper size settings must match those of the actual print media loaded in the tray. Otherwise, paper size mismatch errors or
paper jams may occur.
1 On the operator panel, press the (System) button.
2 Select the Tools tab, and then select Paper Tray Settings.
3 Select Size.
4 Select the desired paper size.
5 Select OK.
 Setting Paper Types
IMPORTANT:
• Paper type settings must match those of the actual print media loaded in the tray. Otherwise, print-quality problems can occur.
1 On the operator panel, press the (System) button.
2 Select the Tools tab, and then select Paper Tray Settings.
3 Select Type.
4 Select the desired paper type.
5 Select OK.
