Parameters
interface-type interface-number: Specifies an interface by its type and number.
Description
Use originating-rp to configure the address of the specified interface as the RP address of SA messages.
Use undo originating-rp to restore the default.
By default, the PIM RP address is used as the RP address of SA messages.
Examples
# In public network, specify the IP address of VLAN-interface 100 as the RP address of SA messages.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] msdp
[Sysname-msdp] originating-rp vlan-interface 100
# In VPN instance mvpn, specify the IP address of VLAN-interface 100 as the RP address of SA
messages.

peer-address: Specifies an MSDP peer address.
interface-type interface-number: Specifies an interface by its type and number. The local device uses the
IP address of the specified interface as the source IP address when setting up a TCP connection with the
remote MSDP peer.
Description
Use peer connect-interface to create an MSDP peer connection.
Use undo peer connect-interface to remove an MSDP peer connection.
