Replacing the head up SP
(1) Remove up to the cover of the motor following
the steps (1) through (5) in section 2-1-1 and
step (2) in section 2-2-2.

Note) This replacement is applicable only
to the machines shipped in the first
term.
(1) Loosen the set collar mounting screws h (2
pcs.) to detach the set collar from the spline
shaft.
(2) Remove the spline shaft from the bearing of
the Z-slide bracket.

(3) Replace the head up SP2 i.
 When fixing the set collar, exercise
care to avoid any clearance from
being formed between the collar and the spline shaft.
