8.4.1.4 Automac motor calibraon (non-energized)
If the applicaon does not enable you to energise the system during the opmisaon, carry
out this opmisaon.
Precondions
All rated motor data are known and set in the inverter, either by selecng the motor from
the motor catalogue or manually.

seng of the motor data ^ 114
In 0x2C00 (P300.00), the motor control type required and suitable for the motor is selec-
ted.
The inverter is error-free and in the "Ready to switch on" or "Switched on" device state.
The inverter is disabled or the motor is stopped (no start enable).
No other axis command is acve anymore.
Required steps
Opmisaon with engineering tool (e. g. »EASY Starter«):
1.
Go to the "Sengs" tab and navigate to the parameterisaon dialog "Advanced motor set-
ting".
2.
Click the Non-energized buon under "motor calibraon".
3.
Follow the instrucons of the engineering tool.

A default inverter characterisc is loaded.
the motor equivalent circuit diagram data and controller sengs are
calculated on the basis of the currently set rated motor data.
The motor is not energised.
Opmisaon process
As soon as the process has been started, the following steps are iniated:
1.
A default inverter characterisc is loaded.
2.
The motor equivalent circuit diagram data is calculated based on the currently set rated
motor data.
3.
The motor controller sengs are automacally calculated.
4.
The speed controller sengs are automacally calculated.
8.4.2 Inverter Characteriscs
The inverter characterisc is automacally set if one of the following opmisaons is carried
out:
4Automac motor idencaon (energized) ^ 146
4Automac motor calibraon (non-energized) ^ 147
The sengs made can be seen if required, but should not be changed. A wrong
seng may inuence the control negavely!

The inverter characterisc (consisng of 17 values) is calculated and set
during the automac idencaon of the motor data. If only an auto-
mac calibraon of the motor data is carried out, a default inverter char-
acterisc is loaded instead.
Note!
Changing these values is not recommended by the manufacturer.
