Multifunction Input/Output Functions
List
This section describes the input/output signals of the inverter.
8-2-1
Multifunction Input Selection
By allocating the following functions to Input Terminal [DI1] to [DI7] Function Selection
(3005Hex-02Hex to 3005Hex-06Hex, 3005Hex-63Hex, 3005Hex-64Hex), the set function can be oper-
ated. However, “98: FW (Forward Run/Stop)” and “99: RV (Reverse Run/Stop)” can be allocated to
only Input Terminal [DI6] Function Selection (3005Hex-63Hex) or Input Terminal [DI7] Function Selec-
tion (3005Hex-64Hex).
By setting data in which 1000 is added to the set data of the following functions that are to be used, it
is possible to switch the input terminals [DI1] to [DI7] from an NO contact input to an NC contact input.
However, as a standard, “6: STP (3-wire stop),” “9: EXT (External trip),” “23: ATR (Torque command
input permission)” and “30: STOP (Force to stop)” are set to an NC contact, and change to an NO
contact by setting data in which 1000 is added.
If the same function is allocated to the multifunction input terminals, and if any one of the multifunction
input terminals to which the function is allocated, except for the exceptions below, turns ON, the func-
tion is handled as ON.
Exception: If all terminals to which “9: EXT (External trip),” “30: STOP (Force to stop),” “38: ROK (Per-
mission of Run command),” “98: FW (Forward Run/Stop)” or “99: RV (Reverse Run/Stop)” is allocated
are ON, the function is handled as ON.
Input terminals or output terminals can be forcibly manipulated via communication by setting Support
Tool Link Function Selection (300FHex-64Hex).
When operation via communication is set to enabled (300FHex-64Hex = 2, 3), the function allocated to
the input terminal can be operated via communication. Handling of commands via communication and
commands via terminal blocks differs according to each individual function that is allocated.
For the behavior when operation via communication is enabled (300FHex-64Hex = 2, 3), refer to the
symbols in the “Communication function” column in the table below. The following shows the mean-
ings of the symbols.
E: Signals wired to the input terminal are disabled and operation follows commands instructed by Op-
eration command (3002Hex-07Hex).
O: Handled as ON when whichever of signals wired to the input terminal or commands instructed by
Operation command (3002Hex-07Hex) are ON.
A: Handled as ON when both signals wired to the input terminal and commands instructed by Opera-
tion command (3002Hex-07Hex) are ON.
-: Changes cannot be made by the communications function
