Restart Functions
This section describes the restart-related functions and their operations.

Restart Settings
• Whether or not to perform an auto search start during restart is determined based on the setting of
Motor Starting Mode Auto Search Function Selection (3008Hex-0AHex). If auto search start is not to
be performed, the inverter restarts from the starting frequency as in normal operation.
• If “0: Disable” is set at Motor Starting Mode Auto Search Function Selection (3008Hex-0AHex), then
Power Interruption Restart Wait Time (3008Hex-0EHex) is ignored, and restart is performed from 0
Hz.
• If “2: Enable at normal start and restart after momentary power failure” is selected for Motor Starting
Mode Auto Search Function Selection (3008Hex-0AHex), auto search restart is performed even
when the power is turned ON again.
• Motor Starting Mode Auto Search Function Selection (3008Hex-0AHex) is a parameter that is used
in V/f control (including dynamic torque vector control). Motor Starting Mode Auto Search in Speed
Sensor less Vector Control (3014Hex-44Hex) is used during vector control without sped sensor.
• When vector control with speed sensor is used, restart is performed from the speed detected by the
speed sensor regardless of Motor Starting Mode Auto Search Function Selection (3008Hex-0AHex).
• When using V/f control with speed sensor (including dynamic torque vector control with speed sen-
sor), Motor Starting Mode Auto Search Function Selection (3008Hex-0AHex) is followed.
