Regular Maintenance
5-1-6. Cleaning of Exhaust Opening
Method of confirmation
Exhaust opening may be clogged in the following situation. Confirm condition of opening according to instructions.
 Ink cannot be loaded upon initial operation.
 Maintenance solution cannot be loaded in White Head Cleaning / White Ink Pause Mode.
 White ink cannot be re-loaded in White Head Cleaning / White Ink Pause Mode.
 Ink cannot be loaded after filter exchange.
(1) Select the [Output Check] from the Advanced menu and select the [Carriage Test] > [To Center].
(2) Clean exhaust cap. Refer to "5-1-1. Cleaning the nozzle guard, wiper, exhaust cap, and suction cap" for
instructions on cleaning the exhaust cap.
(3) Select Exhaust Cleaning from the advanced menu.

(4) Select all colors or all whites depending on the location to be checked.
