7-1. Transportation of GTX-4
<Notice to customers>
Any repair cost due to the damages by transportation shall be burdened by the customers. Be sure to have a minute discussion
with the designated carrier in advance.
Excessive burden applied to the cover during the transportation may deform the device. Be careful in packaging the device.
After carrying in the device, it must be installed only by a qualified technician with reference to "2. Installation and preparation".
Prior to transportation
(1) From the menu, select [Maintenance] > [Printer transport preparation], and press OK.
(2) Follow the on-screen message and turn off the power.
(3) With reference to "6-1-26. Replacement of cleaning solution tank", drain the cleaning solution tank.
(4) Secure cleaning liquid tank, ink cartridges and other parts with tape or other means to prevent disengaging during
transportation.
After transportation
(1) Turn on the power.

Then, the head cleaning will be performed to prevent any ink from drying up.
(2) As required, print out a nozzle check pattern. A head cleaning should be performed for print heads indicating no ink
emission or color blending.

Refer to "7-2-1. Print out of the nozzle check pattern (checking on the print heads)" of the Instruction Manual.
