6-1-30. Replacement of tube, circulation pump, and needles on white side
Disassembly
(1) Conduct the works of Step (1) through (14) of "6-1-29. Replacement of tubes", sub tanks, and needles on color
side.
<IMPORTANT>
ï‚· Ink installation should be performed after replacing the tube. If the ink level is low, make a new ink pouch available for use.
(2) Take out the cartridge set at the portion whose tube is to be replaced, replace the white ink pouch with a capping
pouch, and then insert the cartridge into the main unit.
<TIPS>
ï‚· The operation of Step 2 through 4 describes the replacement procedures for W3 but also applies to other tubes.
(3) Detach the fitting on the head side.
Attach a fitting (the one attached with a new tube) to the fitting-detached portion to prevent the ink from leaking.
Attach the fitting.
