Disassembly / Replacement / Adjustment
6-1-34. Disassembly / Assembly of ink cartridge
If the cartridge contains an ink pouch, remove the ink pouch with reference to "Replacement of ink pouch".
Disassembly
(1) Open the cartridge's lid.
<IMPORTANT>
 When opening the lid, be sure not to touch the portion (a). Otherwise, it could be damaged.
 Place the entire cartridge on a flat surface, push the latches on the bottom surface of the cartridge downward and open the
lid.

(2) Remove the ink level detection plate spring.
<CAUTION>
 Take care not to lose the ink level detection plate spring.
(3) Remove the ink level detection plate 1 while pressing the boss.
<CAUTION>
 Take care not to break the latch of the ink level detection plate 1.
