6-1-15. Replacement of ball bushing
(1) Select the [Output Check] from the Advanced menu and select the [Carriage Test] > [To Center]. Press and hold
down the power button to power off.
<IMPORTANT>
ï‚· Please complete the task within 1 hour, in order to prevent the print heads from drying up.
Long-hour continuation of a head without capping may lead to non-ejection of ink-jet droplets.
ï‚· Secure space necessary for the removal of the carriage shaft on the left side of the main unit.
(2) Remove cover upon reference to "6-1-11. Replacement of carriage motor".
(3) Remove the three hole bolts on belt tension adjustment mechanism and detach tension adjustment mechanism.
