6-2-18. Replacement of Cover switch assy
In the case that the power is turned on, press the power switch to turn off the power.
Unplug the power cord from the main unit and start the work after five or more minutes have passed.
Disassembly
(1) With reference to "6-2-6. Replacement of power circuit board plate assy", detach the cover DBR and cover PB.
(2) With reference to "6-2-9. Replacement of AC inlet", detach cartridge cover and coat cover.
(3) Disconnect connectors from the cover switch harness of the power source circuit board.
(4) Draw the cover switch harness toward the inside of the main unit.
(5) From the bushing incorporated in the bottom left portion of the main unit, draw the cover switch harness out of the
main unit.
(6) Draw the cover switch harness out of the gap between the ink cartridge block and the main unit and above the ink
cartridge block.
(7) Draw the cover switch harness toward the inside of the main unit from the gap between the cover UR and the main
unit.
