scope adapter
To enter adapter mode, use the scope adapter command.
scope adapter {rack_server/id|chassis/server/id}
Syntax Description
The adapter location specified using the rack-server and adapter IDs entered
in n/n format.
rack_server/id
The adapter location specified using the chassis, server and adapter IDs entered
in n/n/n format.
The chassis ID is always 1.

Usage Guidelines
In adapter mode, you can activate or update a firmware version, view a variety of adapter-specific data, and
scope into host and external Ethernet interfaces.
Example
This example shows how to enter adapter mode using the chassis, server and adapter IDs:
FP9300-A# scope adapter 1/1/1
FP9300-A /chassis/server/adapter #
