Install the throttle body [1]
in
to the insulator by aligning
the
lug With
the
groove.
Align the throttle body side insulator band hole with the
insulator boss.
Tighten the throttle body side Insulator band screw

that the distance between the band tabs is as
shown.
Connect the IACV

the
air cleaner housing

Adjust the throttle lever freepla y (page 3-4).
Connect the quick connect fitting to
the
fuel injector
(page 7-10).
INSPECTION
Remove the throttle body cover (page 7-13).
The IACV is installed
on
the throttle body and is
operated
by
the
st
ep
molor.
When
the ignition switch is
turned ON , the IACV operates for a few seconds.
Tum the ignition switch
ON
and engine stop switch

check the IACV

If the slep motor operating (beep) sound is heard , the
IACV
is
normal.
