3. Pull and release the connector damper [1] from the I
retainer.
4. Hold the connector [2) with one hand and squeeze
the retainer [3] tabs with the other hand to release
them from the locking pawls

If us ing the special tool:
Pull
and release the connector damper [1] from the
retainer as shown.
Set the special tool to the retainer tabs and push and
release them from the locking pawls
TOOL:
[5J Fuel connector re mo ver 070MF-HP50200
Pull
the connector off , then remove the retainer and
connector damper from the pipe end .
NOTE :
Absorb the remaining fuel in the fuel feed hose from
Howing out with a shop towel.
Be careful not to damage the hose or other parts.
Use the
specified special tool only.
If the connector does not move, keep the retainer
tabs pressed down , and alternately pull and push
the connector
until il comes off easily

5. To prevent damage and keep foreign matter out , ~= ============= ==--~
cov er the disconnected connector and pipe end with
the plastic bags

INJECTOR SIDE
1. Relive the fuel pressure (page 7-6).
Remove
Ihe throttle body cover (page 7-13 ).
Remove the bolt (1] , clamp (2] and setting rubber (3].
