3. Pull and release the connector damper [1] from the I
retainer.
4. Hold the connector [2) with one hand and squeeze
the retainer [3] tabs with the other hand to release
them from the locking pawls

Set the special tool to the retainer tabs and push and
release them from the locking pawls

NOTE
:
Absorb the remaining fuel in the fuel feed hose from
Howing

with a shop towel.
Be careful not to damage the hose or

parts.
Use the
specified special tool only.
If
the connector does not move, keep the retainer
tabs pressed
down
, and alternately pull and push
the connector
until

comes
off
easily
