REAR WHEEUSUSPENSION
REAR WHEEL
REMOVAL
Loosen t he wheel nuts [1].
Support Ihe vehicle using a hoist or equivalent and
raise the rear wheels o ff the grou nd .
Remove the wheel nuts a
nd rear wheel.
For life removal/installation and repai r, see Front
Wheel/Suspension/Steering section (page 16-13).
INSTALLATION
Do not interchange Install the rear wheel with the tire valve faci ng out and
the left and right the arrow mark. [2] facing in the normal ro tating
wheels direction.
Install the wheel nuts wi th the tapered side facing
inward and tighten them to Ihe specified torque.

REMOVAL

Remove the skid plate (page 3-18).
Support the vehicle using a hoist or equivalent and
raise the rear wheels off the ground.
Support the swingarm. Remove the nuts and bolts [1[,
and the shock absorber [2).
