- clutch outer guide [1]
Remove the pnmary drive gear 111 and washer 121 from ~~~~~~
the crankshaft.
INSPECTION
CLUTCH LIFTER
finger. FElFPE models shown: [1J
Tum the inner race of the lifter bearing 111 with your F
The bearing should tum smoothly and quietly_
Replace if necessary .
Check th e tifter cam plate [21, lifter plate (3] and oollar
[4) for deformation or damage
CLUTCH SPRING
Replace the clutch Measure the clutch spring free length
spnngs as a sel
SERVICE LIMITS : FM/FPM: 50.7 mm (2. 00 in)
FElFPE : 45 .3 rnm (1 .78 In)
