BLOWER MOTOR RELAY
REMOVAL
1) Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.
2) Disable air bag system, if equipped. Refer to DISABLING AIR
BAG SYSTEM in Section 10B.
3) Open glove box, then remove screw.
4) Remove glove box.
5) Disconnect relay coupler.
6) Remove blower motor relay (1) by removing its fastening screw (2).
INSPECTION
1) Check that there is no continuity between terminal “c” and “d”.
If there is continuity, replace relay.
2) Connect battery positive (+) terminal to terminal “b” of relay.
Connect battery negative (–) terminal “a” of relay.
Check continuity between terminal “c” and “d”.
If there is no continuity when relay is connected to the battery,
replace relay.
