FU-38 FUEL SYSTEM - Injection Pump

DISASSEMBLE BOOST COMPENSATOR
A. Remove lever control spring
Remove the bolt, gasket and lever control spring.
B. Remove boost compensator diaphragm
(a) Using a 5 mm hexagon wrench, remove the four bolts.
(b) Remove the following parts:
(1) Diaphragm cover
(2) Diaphragm
(3) Spring
(4) Boost compensator shim
C. Remove guide bushing
D. Remove control lever
(a) Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the two bolts
and gaskets.
