13. Measure:

S Spring tilt

Out of specification  Replace.

Spring tilt limit:

2.5_ /1.7 mm

INSTALLATION

1. Install:

S Stem seal

S Valve

S Spring seat

S Valve spring

S Valve retainer

(into cylinder head)

S Make sure that each valve is installed in its origi-

nal place, also referring to the embossed mark

as follows:

Intake (right/left): “3LD:”

Intake (middle): “3LD.”

Exhaust “3LD”

S Install the valve spring with the larger pitch

facing upwards.

Smaller pitch
