REAR WHEEL, BRAKE DISC AND DRIVEN SPROCKET

NOTE:

INSPECTION

1. Inspect:

 Rear wheel axle

Refer to “FRONT WHEEL AND BRAKE DISC”.

2. Measure:

 Wheel runout

Refer to “FRONT WHEEL AND BRAKE DISC”.

3. Install:

 Wheel bearings

 Oil seals

 Collars

Refer to “FRONT WHEEL AND BRAKE DISC”.

4. Measure:

 Brake disc deflection

Out of specification  Inspect wheel runout.

If wheel runout is in good condition, replace the

brake disc(s).

Remove the brake caliper before inspecting the

brake disc deflection.

Maximum deflection:

0.15 mm

 Brake disc thickness

Out of specification  Replace.

Minimum thickness:

4.5 mm

Measuring point 1  3 mm

5. Inspect:

 Clutch hub

Cracks/Damage  Replace.

 Rubber dampers

Wear/Damage  Replace.
