ASSEMBLY
Reverse the “DISASSEMBLY” procedure.
Note the following points.
1. Lubricate:
 Bearings
 Oil seals (lips)
Recommended lubricant:
Lithium soap base grease
INSTALLATION
Reverse the “REMOVAL” procedure.
Note the following points.
1. Lubricate:
 Front wheel axle
 Drive/Driven gear (speedometer)
Recommended lubricant:
Lithium soap base grease
2. Install:
 Speedometer gear unit

Be sure that two projections

inside the wheel
hub mesh with the two slots
b in the gear unit as-
sembly.
3. Install:
 Front wheel
 Front wheel axle
Be sure that the projection (torque stopper)
a
of
the gear unit housing is positioned correctly.
4. Install:
 Pinch bolt
 Brake caliper (left/right) and cable guide
