2000 HOUR MAINTENANCE
WARNING: The cover has two earth/ground cables which may
be disconnected if the cover is to be removed.
However,thecablesmustbeconnectedagainwhen
the cover is refitted to the box.
Note: Filter Kit part number 30428 will be required for this service.
The onlymaintenancenecessaryis replacementof the filters aftereach
2000 hours of operating time. The filters may be replaced at more
frequent intervals if considered necessary. Provided the maintenance
work is not prolonged, it is not necessary to interrupt the operation of
the printer.
The dryer should be switched off and the power removed.
(1) Releasethesixquickreleasefastenersaroundtheedgeofthecover.
Lift the cover away from the housing.
(2) Disconnect the air circuit at the following points:
(a) At the bulkhead fitting, remove the vent tube from the festo
connection.
(b) Atthejunctionwherethetubefromtheinputjoinstheairfilter.
(c) At the junction where the tube to the restrictor joins the
coalescing air filter (see quick release connector explanation --
next page).
(3) Remove the large nut, on the underside of the regulator, which
secures the regulator to its mounting bracket.
(4) Carefully lift out the complete set of filters as a single assembly.
