Gas Service in a Horizontal Pipe
Install the Mass ProPlate with the transmitter facing up as shown in
Figure 2-18. This orientation will prevent condensate from becoming
entrapped in the meter assembly.

Steam Service in a Horizontal Pipe
Install the Mass ProPlate with the transmitter facing down to prevent
air from becoming entrapped within the meter section. Figure 2-19
illustrates the recommended location for the Mass ProPlate when used
with steam service.
