DISASSEMBLING THE CARBURETOR
Remove:

Float pin 1
ī
Float 2
ī
Needle valve
NOTE:
Tap float pin 1 in the direction of arrow

of carburetor body 3 and in the reverse
direction with a pin to remove.
CHECKING THE CARBURETOR
CAUTION:
Do not use steel-wire for cleaning the jets.
This may enlarge the jet diameters and
seriously affect performance.
1. Check:

Carburetor body
Cracks/damage
ī
Replace.
Contamination
ī
Clean.
2. Check:
ī
Needle valve
ī
Pilot screw
Grooved wear
ī
Replace.
3. Check:
ī
Main nozzle
ī
Main jet
ī
Pilot jet
Contamination
ī
Clean.
4. Check:
ī
Float
Cracks/damage
ī
Replace.
5. Check:
ī
O-ring
Wear/cracks/damage
ī
Replace.
