Envelopes
If the print target is also an envelope, load the original envelope correctly according to the
direction the envelope for print is loaded on the paper tray.

When the flap of the envelope for print faces to the paper feed direction, load the
original envelope with its flap left-side.

When the bottom edge of the envelope for print faces to the paper feed direction, load
the original envelope with its flap right-side.

When the flap of the envelope for print faces to right against the paper feed direction,
load the original envelope with its flap toward you.
3 Close the document cover.
Loading Custom Size Documents
After loading an original, you can specify a scan size for the original when the original is a
non-standard size or when you want to scan the original at a size different from the original
size.
