Le maintien de l’absence de voile (ovalisation)
des roues et de la tension correcte des rayons
est essentiel pour la sécurité d’utilisation de la
moto. Durant les premiers parcours, les rayons
se desserrent plus rapidement sous l’effet de
l’adaptation initiale des pièces. Des rayons
excessivement desserrés peuvent provoquer
une instabilité à grande vitesse et faire perdre
le contrôle du véhicule. Il est également très
important que les gripsters de jante soient
solidement fixés pour empêcher le pneu de
glisser sur la jante.
Il n’est pas nécessaire de déposer les roues
pour effectuer l’entretien recommandé dans le
Programme d’entretien (page 29). Les
informations de dépose des roues sont,
toutefois, données pour des cas d’urgence.
1. Vérifier si les jantes (1) et rayons (2) de roue
ne sont pas endommagés.
2. Serrer tout rayon ou gripster de jante (3)
desserré au couple spécifié :
Rayons : 3,7 N·m (0,4 kgf·m)
Gripsters de jante : 12 N·m (1,2 kgf·m)
3. Vérifier si la jante de roue n’est pas voilée. Si
un voile est visible, consulter le manuel
d’atelier Honda officiel pour les instructions
de contrôle.

1. Vérifier si l’axe de roue ne présente pas de
faux-rond.
2. Vérifier l’état des roulements de roue.
