Chapter 6 Configure Integrated Motion Using a PowerFlex 527 Drive
Configure the PowerFlex 527
Drive
After you have added a PowerFlex 527 drive to your project, you must
configure the type of safety connection suitable for your application. See the
following sections for instructions on configuration of the drive for the
different types of safety connections.

• Configure the Drive with Integrated Safety Connections on page 134
Configure the Drive with Hard-wired Safety Connections
Follow these steps to configure the PowerFlex 527 drives with hard-wired
safety.
1. Make sure that you have completed the steps in Add a PowerFlex 527
Drive on page 130 before proceeding.
2. Under Module Definition, click Change.
The Module Definition dialog box appears.
