TRAFFIC SEGMENTATION COMMANDS
The Traffic Segmentation commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are listed (along with the
appropriate parameters) in the following table.
Command Parameter
config
traffic_segmentation
<portlist> forward_list [all | ports <portlist>]
show
traffic_segmentation
{ports <portlist>}
Each command is listed in detail, as follows:
config traffic_segmentation
Purpose To configure traffic segmentation on the Switch.
Syntax
config traffic_segmentation <portlist> forward_list [all | ports
<portlist>]
Description
The config traffic_segmentation command configures traffic
segmentation on the Switch.
Parameters
<portlist> A port or a port channel for which the current traffic
segmentation configuration on the Switch is to be displayed.
forward_list Specify a port or a port channel to receive forwarded
frames from the source ports specified in the portlist, above.
all - All ports are specified.
ports <portlist> Specify a range of ports for the forwarding list.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure ports 1~3 to be able to forward frames to port 5:
DGS-1100-24P/ME:admin#config traffic_segmentation 1-3 forward_list
ports 9
Command : config traffic_segmentation 1-3 forward_list ports 9
Success.
DGS-1100-24P/ME:admin#
show traffic_segmentation
Purpose To display the current traffic segmentation configuration on the
Switch.
