VOICE VLAN COMMANDS
The voice vlan commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are listed (along with the appropriate
parameters) in the following table.

Each command is listed in detail, as follows:
enable voice_vlan
Purpose Enables the global Voice VLAN function.
Syntax
enable voice_vlan [ name <vlan_name 8> | vlanid <vlanid 1-4094>]
Description To enable the Voice VLAN function on a switch, the Vo
must be assigned a name and there must be an existing static
802.1Q VLAN.
To change the Voice VLAN parameters, the user must disable the
Voice VLAN function and then re-issue the enable command.
Parameters
name <vlan_name 8> - The name of the voice VLAN
vlanid <vlanid 1-4094> - The VLAN ID of the voice VLAN.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
