Syntax
clear counters {ports <porlist>}
Description
The clear counters
command clears the counters used by the
Switch to compile statistics.
Parameters
<portlist> Specifies a range of ports to be cleared.
Restrictions Only an administrator-level user can issue this command.
Example usage:
To clear the counters:
DGS-1100-24P/ME:admin#clear counters ports 5
Command : clear counters ports 5
Success.
DGS-1100-24P/ME:admin#
clear log
Purpose To clear the Switch’s history log.
Syntax
clear log
Description
The clear log command clears the Switch’s history log.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To clear the log information:
DGS-1100-24P/ME:admin#clear log
Command : clear log
Success.
DGS-1100-24P/ME:admin#
show log
Purpose To display the Switch history log.
Syntax
show log {index <value
_list> | severity [all | informational |
warning]}
Description
The show log
command displays the contents of the Switch’s
history log.
Parameters
index <value_list> The number of entries in the h
istory log to
display.
severity [all | informational | warning] Specifies the severity type to
be displayed.
