Ventilation at front
The air outlets for the upper body area can
be adjusted to suit the occupants' prefer-
ences.
You can open and close the air outlets
continuously with knurled wheels

and
adjust the direction of the airflow as with
knurled wheels

Ventilation for cooling
Adjust the outlets so that cool air is
directed towards you, e.g. if the car's inte-
rior has become hot.
Draught-free ventilation
Turn outlets so that the airflow passes the
occupants without striking their bodies
directly.
You can adjust the air temperature
from the outlets for the upper body
individually in the control display, see
page 101.
When the ventilation grilles are fully closed,
the vehicle's interior is ventilated indirectly
via outlets on the top of the instrument
panel.

Ventilation for storage compartment
in front armrest
The outlet can be opened and closed at the
knurled w heel in the storage compartment.
The temperature inside the storage
compartment may become quite high,
depending on the automatic air condi-
tioning settings. Close the outlet if neces-
sary.

Automatic air conditioning:
The temperature in the storage compart-
ment depends on the setting for the upper
body area, see page 101.
Air conditioning system with extended

The temperature in the storage compart-
ment depends on the settings of the
knurled wheels at the rear, see Rear-seat

Turned towards blue cooler
Turned towards red warmer
This function enables you to fine-tune your
comfort settings and adjust the tempera-
ture in the storage compartment.
