Re-engaging
1. Squeeze together the red locking lever,
arrow

, and the release lever to disengage
the release lever
2. Guide the release lever back to the limit
position the transmission interlock is now
engaged again
3. Fold the cover back up and secure it.
The message in the Check Control
must go out after the transmission
interlock has been engaged, and the info
display reading must change from N to P.
There is otherwise a risk of the car rolling
away.

To indicate a turn
Press the lever beyond the pressure point.
It will cancel when released. Press the lever
as far as the pressure point to cancel the
turn indicator.
To indicate a turn briefly
Press lever as far as the pressure point. It
will return to the centre position when
released.
If the indicator light flashes and the relay
ticks more rapidly than usual, a flashing
turn indicator bulb has failed; if towing a
trailer, the failed lamp could be on the
trailer.
Wiper system

Intermittent operation press briefly
once
Normal wiper speed press twice
Fast wiper speed press three times

Switching off wipers or flick-wipe

Switching off wipers or activating/de-
activating rain sensor

Cleaning windscreen and headlights

Selecting intermittent-wipe interval or
adjusting sensitivity of rain sensor.
The lever returns to the home position
when released.
