Saving a received text/SMS message
After reading a new message

The text message is saved in the list of text messages
received, see page 216. You can reply to it at any time.
If the softkey
BACK
appears instead of
SAVE,
the
memory for text messages is full. You can create
space in the memory by deleting old text messages, see
below.

Deleting a text/SMS message
If the message memory on your SIM card is full, you are
alerted to this fact by the softkey in the handset's
standby display.
You should delete older messages without delay, so that
you can receive new ones.
To do this:
Call up SMS menu
Call up the text message you wish to delete, see page 216
Call up the sub-menu
Delete Text
Select and confirm.
To delete the text message:

To keep the text message:
Select.
Editing a text/SMS message
Call up the sub-menu
Edit Old
Select and confirm
Select a text/SMS message
Display shows:
Will be coming tomorrow
Select to delete the text
Make alterations to the text, e.g. enter
Please wait until day
after tomorrow!
to confirm.
You can receive and edit a message, then send it directly
back to its original sender:
