Height adjustment
Correct the height of the head restraint to
ensure that its centre is approximately at
ear level.
The outer head restraints are
extended automatically as soon as
the rear seat detects an occupant. You can
in addition adjust the height of the head
restraint manually.
<
Ensure that the space above the head
restraints is clear, otherwise persons
could be injured or objects damaged when
the head restraints are extended.
<
Adjusting side sections
The side sections of the head restraint's
front piece can be folded forward to
provide greater lateral support in the rest
position.
Seat belts
Always fasten your seat belt on every
journey, despite the presence of an airbag:
the airbags are a complementary safety
feature, not a substitute for the seat belts.
Fastening
The seat belt buckle must be heard to
engage.
