Air supply to windscreen and
side windows

You can adjust the tempera-
ture of the air from the outlets for the upper
body individually, see next below
Air to footwells
Adjusting temperature for the upper
body
This function is an easy way to make minor
temperature adjustments.
By adjusting the temperature, you blend a
varying amount of cool air with the air for
the upper body area outlets. We recom-
mend a central temperature setting, as
slightly cooler air promotes fatigue-free
driving.
Memorising and calling up an indi-
vidual setting

Once you have adjusted the air distribution
manually, you can save this individual
setting.
Select "Save" and confirm.
You can now call up your preferred interior
climate settings.
Select "Individual" and confirm. The AUTO
program is switched off.
Micro-/filter and activated
charcoal filter
The micro-filter traps dust and pollen in the
incoming air. The activated charcoal filter in
addition removes gaseous pollutants from
the air entering the car. This combined filter
is changed by BMW Service during routine
maintenance work.
