Checking and Refueling
• Do not smoke while refueling.
• Be sure to stop the engine before refueling.
1. Turn the key switch to "ON", check the amount of fuel by fuel
gauge.
2. Fill fuel tank when fuel gauge shows 1/4 or less fuel in tank.
• Do not permit dirt or trash to get into the fuel system.
• Be careful not to let the fuel tank become empty, otherwise
air will enter the fuel system, necessitating bleeding before
next engine start.
• Be careful not to spill during refueling. If should spill, wipe
it off at once, or it may cause a fire.
• To prevent condensation (water) accumulation in the fuel
tank, fill the tank before parking overnight.
• Suppose that you try to refuel with the key switch at ON.
When you start refueling, the buzzer sounds intermittently.
When the tank gets close to full, the buzzer starts sounding
continuously. Stop refueling just when the buzzer sound
turns from intermittent to continuous.
