Checking the delivery
Check that all items listed in section Moving and unpacking the unit are present.
Check that there are no signs of damage. Before attempting installation and operation,
check the information on the type designation label of the drive to verify that the unit is of
the correct type.
Installing the motor cable at the motor end
Ground the motor cable shield 360 degrees at the entry of the motor terminal box.
Checking the insulation of the assembly
 Drive
Do not make any voltage tolerance or insulation resistance tests on any part of the drive as
testing can damage the drive. Every drive has been tested for insulation between the main
circuit and the chassis at the factory. Also, there are voltage-limiting circuits inside the
drive which cut down the testing voltage automatically.
 Input cable
Check the insulation of the input cable according to local regulations before connecting it
to the drive.
