IGNITION COILS
The ignition coil is situated directly on the head of each spark
plug (1), Fig. A, and provides high voltage and ignition energy
necessary to produce high-voltage sparks between the elec-
trodes of the spark plug.
Check:
• The measurement of the coil terminal impedance.
Primary coil 0.65±0.07Ω
Secondary coil
4±0.5kΩ
The optimal condition is achieved when the resistance value is
within the standard value.
Resistancevalue"∞"indicatescoilwiredisconnection”,therefore
it is necessary to replace the ignition coil.
