FRAME/CHECKING ABS HOSES
CHECK FOR ANY LEAKAGES OF ABS TUBES
For the motorcycle models equipped with ABS, it is necessary to
check for leakages in the braking system and especially in the
ABS circuit.
Remove:
• The seat (See section Seat removal).
• Disassemble the passenger’s seat (see section Passen-
ger’s seat removal).
• Remove the fuel tank (see section Fuel tank removal).
• By means of the brake lever/pedal check for brake fl uid
leakages from the hoses “A”, the tubes (models equipped
with ABS) “B” and the fi ttings “C”.
• In case of fl uid leakage in any point, check or replace the
faulty component.
