TheautotuneprocedureforthecurrentregulatorcalculatesthebestgainvaluesforthePIregulator.Theprocedure
canbeusedonlywhenthedriveisconnectedtoahighlyinductiveload.
TheautotuneprocedurecanbelaunchedfromGF_eXpress (ParameterP915Autotuneonthe CURRENT
REGULATORmenu)orfromthekeypadviaAutotuneontheCURRENTREGULATORmenu.Inordertorun
autotune,thecontrolmethodmustbesettoDigital – LocalandtheEnableandStart contactsmustbeclosed.
Whentheprocedureislaunchedfromthekeypad,themessage"Start?"isdisplayedrst.PressEntertostart
theprocedure;pressCANCtoabort.
WhethertheprocedureislaunchedfromthekeypadorfromGF_eXpress,whenrunningitsstatusisdisplayed
onthekeypadandviatheP1526Autotune Statusparameter
Duringnormalrunningofautotuning,thekeypaddisplaysthemessage"Currregtuning"andthevalueofP1526
issetto1(Inprogress).Ifeverythinggoeswell,whentheprocedureendsthekeypaddisplaysthemessages
"Ready"and"Endcurrtune"andparameterP1526issetto2(Success).
TheautotuneprocedurecanbeinterruptedbeforeitendsbypressingtheCANCbuttononthekeypadorfrom
GF_eXpressbyclickingtheDisablebuttonontheControlPanel.
Iftheautotuneproceduredoesnotendcorrectly(dueeithertoerroreventsduringtheprocedureortointerrup-
tioncommandedbytheuser)thePIparametersareresettothevaluespresentbeforetheprocedurewasstarted,
otherwisetheyareoverwrittenwiththenewvaluescalculated.
Inadditiontothemessagesshownaboveregardingcasesinwhichtheprocedurebeginsandendscorrectly,the
keypadmayalsodisplaythefollowingmessages:
"Nocurrent" Thismessageisdisplayedif,duringtheautotuneprocedure,theregulationcannotbe
activatedorifcurrentisnotcalculated(notevenwithaproportionalgainvalueof100%).
