1.14 Selection Calculation Example 3 for System Configuration
1.14.1 Judgment of availability after reexamination of configuration
In this configuration, it is necessary to add an extension power supply unit FX3UC-1PS-5V due to the
restrictions in the 5V DC power supply capacity and the restriction in the number of connectable units.
Construct the system as follows.
1. Example of reexamined system configuration
Insert an extension power supply unit FX3UC-1PS-5V between the FX2NC-16EYR-T and the FX2NC-16EYR-
T.
2. Reexamination of system configuration availability
1) Restriction for the number of input/output points
There is no problem since the number of input/output points in the new system is "208".
2) Restriction for the 5V DC power supply capacity
The 5V DC power supply capacity is as follows after countermeasures.
