Event Log Screen
The Event Log screen lets you select which event logs to generate for your
terminal.

Secure File Transfer
(SFTP)
Set this switch On to turn on the secure FTP server.
Set this switch Off to turn off the secure FTP server.

Remote Client Access
(VNC)
Set this switch ON to turn on the VNC server. Set this
switch Off to turn off the VNC server.
This functionality is not available in the initial
release.
— Ping Response (ICMP)
Set this switch On to allow the terminal to reply to
pings. Set this switch Off to disable ping replies.

Section Field Description

Displays a drop-down list that allows you to select an
event log to display. The following choices are
available.
• Application—displays events related to software
installed on the Windows 10 IoT Core.
• Parameters—displays the Parameter log.
• System—displays events related to the Windows 10
IoT Core system.
• WinCEApplication—displays events related to
software installed in the Windows CE App
Container.
• WinCESystem—displays events related to the
Windows CE App Container system.
