3.10.11.2 Installing T/H Sensors (33010516)
Context
● In the cold and hot aisle containment scenario, install T/H sensors on the
front and rear doors of one in every six cabinets, where the cabinet is an IT
cabinet.
● In the hot aisle containment scenario, install a T/H sensor on the rear door of
one in every six cabinets, where the cabinet is an IT cabinet.
Procedure
Step 1 Attach the bottom of the T/H sensor to the 33 U position on the IT cabinet door
frame.
● The T/H sensor can be installed between the 33 U and 40 U positions based on site
requirements.
● Install the front-door T/H sensor on the left door post, and the rear-door T/H sensor on
the right door post.
