5.3.16.1.2 (Optional) Replacing the App Certicate on a Mobile Device
This section describes how to replace the preset security certicate in the NetEco
app on a mobile device. Preset Huawei
certicates apply only to commissioning
scenarios. For security purposes, apply for certicates from the certication
authority (CA) and use them to replace the preset certicates. Using the same
certicate for a long time increases the probability of being cracked. Replace the
current certicate periodically.
Prerequisites
● The NetEcoapp has been installed.
● You have applied for a new
certicate le server.cer from the CA.
NO TE
server indicates the name of the certicate le, which can be renamed.
Procedure
Step 1 Import the obtained digital certicate to the cer directory in the NetEco folder of
the mobile device.
Step 2 On the Login screen, tap in the upper right corner.
Step 3 On the
Certicate Management screen, click Replace certicate.
Step 4 On the Replace certicate screen, select the new certicate. On the displayed
screen, tap Yes.
