3. Congure two smoke detectors when the total number of cabinets is greater
than 12 and less than or equal to 18. Attach the smoke detectors to the top
panels at the rear of the seventh and last cabinets by magnet.
4. Congure two smoke detectors when the total number of cabinets is greater
than 18. Attach the smoke detectors to the top panels at the rear of the
seventh and eighteenth cabinets by magnet.
Step 2 Prepare and connect cables.
1. Prepare a standard network cable (with eight pins).
2. Cut the RJ45 connector on one end of the standard network cable, strip the
cable to expose pins 3 and 6 (green/white and green), and connect them to
the smoke detector.
3. Connect the RJ45 connector at the other end of the standard network cable
to the AI/DI_1 port on the ECC800-Pro.
4. If two smoke detectors are
congured, connect one to the AI/DI_1 port and
the other to the AI/DI_2 port on the ECC800-Pro.

3.10.14 Routing a Cable to a WLDS900 Water Sensor
If the water sensor is required, perform the following steps to install it.
Context
● The water sensor is composed of the water detection cable (BOM number:
33010445), water detector (BOM number: 33010352), and conversion cable
(packed with the water detector).
● The water detector is installed at the bottom of the equipment.
● The conversion cable connects the water detection cable to the water
detector.
● A single water detection cable is 5 m long. If a longer cable is required,
connect the male connector of one water detection cable to the female
connector of another cable. One water detector can be connected to a
maximum of nine water detection cables.
