4. Lubricate the piston race assembly, 1, and place
it on the pivot, as shown, with the bearing locating
ring, 2, up.

5. Lubricate the thrust bearing, 1, and install it over
the bearing race at 2.

6. Insert the outer bearing race into the housing, 1.
The bearing race must be inserted squarely into
the recess in the housing.
NOTE: The dull or unfinished side of the bearing race
MUST be inserted into the housing first.
