ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP
The electric fuel pump, 1, is located in the left side of
the engine compartment.

1 Loader on level with
parking brake engaged,
key “OFF” position
Fuel level in tank NO
YES
Add fuel and bleed system
Go to next step
2 Key “ON” position Fuel pump
operating
NO
YES
Check power supply (5-amp
fuse in cab panel). If OK, check
ground; if OK, replace pump
Go to next step
3 Key “ON” position Fuel pump
operating but not
pumping fuel
NO
YES
Check line to tank, air leak, fuel
level, tank pickup tube; if OK,
replace pump
Go to next step
4 Key “ON” position Fuel pump
operating and
pumping fuel
NO
YES
Replace pump
Replace fuel line at injector
pump and bleed system;
if OK, go to next step
5 Key “ON” position Fuel pump
operating and
pumping fuel
YES Check fuel shutoff solenoid for
operation
NOTE: Always check fuel level in tank. Always check fuel filters.
